Rental Agent

Goal: To provide a high level of customer service at all times to clients who call in or email us.

Rental agents qualify customers to rent vehicles and help customers choose an appropriate car to rent. They also provide the renter all the information needed to correctly process their rental reservation. They must be informative, kind and courteous at all times; especially under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating/opening new accounts.
  • Collect payment on closed contracts.
  • Call tow company when customers have mechanical/tire issues.
  • Coordinate vehicle swaps for disabled units.
  • Provide technical support for customers renting luxury vehicles/mobile office.
  • Investigate accounting issues such as searching for specific transactions on credit cards/going over invoices with companies.
  • Handle INFO email account that sees traffic upwards of 250 emails per day.
  • Prepare contracts for early morning pickups.
  • Maintain and update rental agreement files; contact and notify customers of overdue rental vehicles and inquire as to the expected date of return.

 

Overnight Counter Agent (10pm – 6:30am)

Goal: To provide a high level of customer service at all times to customers that call in or visit the rental office.

Counter agents process customers’ rental when they come into our office. They are also responsible to be informative, professional, and efficient. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and embrace the customer in an enthusiastic manner. Complete necessary rental or parking information, disclose rates, term and conditions or rental and obtain customer signatures while using effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options.
  • Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues; process the rentals and answer any question customers may have and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Exchange customers’ vehicle when necessary and complete requests in computer system.
  • Inform the maintenance manager of any vehicle related issues via email or phone call if deemed necessary at the time.
  • Work with lot attendants to keep prepare vehicles reserved for the upcoming day.
  • Handle customer service issues professionally.
  • Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required.
  • Run an inventory listing nightly for accurate records.

 

Counter Agent

Goal: Provide a high level of customer service at all times to customers that come in.

Counter agents process customers’ rental when they come into our office. They are also responsible to be informative, professional, and efficient. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Greet and embrace the customer in an enthusiastic manner. Complete necessary rental or parking information, disclose rates, term and conditions or rental and obtain customer signatures while using effective sales techniques to encourage customers to utilize service options.
  • Receive telephone calls and handle customer-related issues; process the rentals and answer any question customers may have and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Exchange customers’ vehicle when necessary and complete requests in computer system.
  • Inform the maintenance manager of any vehicle related issues.
  • Work with lot attendants to keep reservation list updated and organized throughout the day.
  • Handle customer service issues professionally.
  • Perform related responsibilities as assigned or required.
